What Does the following spiral Chest CT Scan Indicate?

I want to understand the findings in the spiral CT of my chest: bilateral lower lobe heterogeneous opacity (got that, both of the lower regions of the lungs are opaque). Cylindrical bronchiastasis of the lower lobes, minimal clinical bronchistasis of the upper lobes. They got me on that one. I ve been reading about the bronchiastasis, I understand it better now. I just want to better understand the findings, to know what I am dealing with, as far as how serious this condition is. I m 51, very active, Kindergarten teacher. Most people thing I m 35 or 37 (I don t act my age!)

I really appreciate your concern, the CT scan of chest is suggestive of paranchymal disease of lungs tissue, and it needs to be correlate wit the clinical symptoms and sign, hope this information helps.
